I will shamelessly steal from everyone, including but not limited to my grandmother's recipes and post it here. Don't blame me if you pick up extra weight.
In any case, you should not be viewing these pages directly (If you are, let me know so that I can change my profession and publish a recipe book) but you are welcome to do so. This place is neither a cooking book nor a directory, after all there are numerous
good sites available to guide you in your cooking
ventures. It is only meant to be a quick reference slot when some food is mentioned in the
articles. I just like to be thorough.
Soups
Turkish cuisine carries a good deal of soups for all seasons. They are easy to cook, too.
Meat
For the sake of completeness. Still I will insert a few common ones.
Vegetables
This section will be useful especially to vegans. Variety is the spice of life, especially when your choices are restricted. You should also check the olive oiled.
Olive Oiled
My favourite. The reason this has a special heading is not only they are cooked with olive oil, they are also served
cold.
Pies
Main ingredients are always flour and eggs but I have no idea how you will manage these. Some ingredients will be difficult to find. Jewish or Greek groceries may carry some of the items in stock.
Desserts
I will boldy say "forget about cakes, icecream and the similar stuff," these are absolutely delicious. None of them less than 500 calories though.
